Any ideas why my Certificate Authorities aren't being installed with the installation of my xpi? Everything else works, it's just that the CAs don't get installed. They are in PEM format.

I apologize if I have overlooked this in your articles, but is there a preference that I can set that will prevent users from adding websites to the list of "exceptions" for cookies.

yes, you should be able to add multiple folders with bookmarks in each. I'll test this when I get back to make sure it works.

This is a great extension! The only problem I am having is with bookmarks. Can I add multiple folders and then add bookmarks to each one? They all seem to go into the same folder and I can't work out how to add more.

Thanks again for making this available.

I'll second the fact that a lot of this text really ought to be on the wizard's screens, particularly when you say that people are confused by certain screens.

Also the order and (as a previous poster says) number of screens could really do with a bit of a looking at. For instance I'd have thought that the Customize Preferences screen should really come after any screens containing info that can be set in the preferences (proxy config was the big one that stood out for me, I'd already been mentally thinking out what settings to change to get my company's proxy settings directly in, and then on a later screen comes the friendly proxy settings screen).

Perhaps some grouping of similar screens, eg have one bookmarks related screen that has, eg, buttons to take you to the Add Folder, Add Bookmark, and Add Help Menu pages (also default home pages seems like a similar action)? And something similar for the Extensions and Add-ons pages?

Anyway great job on this, all the above is just my opinion on how it could be slightly less confusing/daunting for the first timer, it's in no way meant to take away from how good the tool looks currently.

Thanks a lot for these very detailed explanations.
But how would you add extension configurations in the CCK package ? I not only would like to install a bundle of extensions, but also tune their default configuration.
Most likely, these extension config would be specific preference entries, but is there a way to add these numerous entries in an easy way (a file containing all preferences instead of one by one) ?

Thanks

This is great -- I had to rollout FF a year ago and couldn't find anything that was both well documented and more reliable than a hack. Thanks for putting the CCK and documentation together.
