Because we’re raving fans of our local Chick-fil-A in Cedar Park (and eat there entirely too much), they gave us a coupon for a small tray of chicken strips for Christmas. We couldn’t eat them all at the store, so I’ve been creating new Chick-fil-A items at home.
Cheesy Chick-fil-A Chicken Burrito
Take a fajita sized tortilla, put in one chicken strip and some shredded cheese. To get the full effect, you have to dip it in Chick-fil-A sauce. Delicious!
Chick-fil-A Ranch Chicken Salad
My wife was going to make some chicken salad by cutting up the strips. Since the tray came with a giant tub of Chick-fil-A ranch, I convinced her to use ranch instead of mayonnaise. It came out great!
Just cut up some chicken strips into small pieces and mix with as much Chick-fil-A ranch as you can get.
Chick-fil-A Chicken Strip Sandwich
I was in the mood for a Chick-fil-A sandwich, but all I had at home were strips. Here’s what I did:
I took a hamburger bun and buttered each side and lightly cooked it in a frying pan. Then I put two strips on the bun. Finally, I spread Chick-fil-A sauce on the top bun. Awesome!
This sandwich can be created at Chick-fil-A and can be a substitute if you want a sandwich, drink and fries, but don’t want the big meal. Order a two strip kids meal, and just a bun. Then you can make the sandwich at your table.
